Affordable Housing Finance

Safe and affordable housing is the foundation upon which families build their lives and neighbors build communities. Housing development has always been at the heart of LISC’s program. Our goal is to meet people’s most basic needs for shelter and security and to create an attractive and financially stable base for neighborhood improvement.

LISC equips CDCs with many of the tools they need to develop affordable housing in their service areas. We give grants and loans to support every stage of the process. Additionally, LISC helps to train CDCs in critical areas that will enable them to succeed in their projects.
